Small Angkor Tour

Covering the main highlights of Siem Reap, Indochina Globetrot's Small Angkor Tour is the ideal choice if you are on a tight schedule and short of time.

Day 1:
Arrive at Siem Reap International airport and transfer to the hotel. Time Permitting (depending on time of arrival), visit Angkor Thom (enter through the South Gate), and temples inside the Royal City including; Bauphon, Phimeanakas, Terraces of the Elephants and the Leper King, and the Bayon.

In the afternoon we visit the extraordinary temple of Ta Prohm, which was left untouched by French archaeologists, exept to make it safe and accessible to visitors; Angkor Wat; and Phnom Bakeng for sunset.

Dinner at a local restaurant.

Day 2:
After breakfast at the hotel, we visit one of two War Museums located in Siem Reap, each with a collection of objects on view that are reminiscent of the "Killing Fields", the local market to shop for Cambodian Handicrafts; and the Chantiers Ecoles training school for a tour of the workshopes where students are producing stone and wood carvings, and lacquer and silk. The quality of the materials, workmanship and sales of the products are under the control of Artinsans d'Angkor, a European Union non-profit organisation.

In the afternoon you will be transfered to Siem Reap International Airport.

All itineraries are based on the number of days and nights spent in Siem Reap and environs. Prices are subject to the number of participants and are available on request.

Prices include:

  • Transfer from/to airport
  • Accommodation with hot water, mini bar and TV

  • Transportation to and from the temples as described in the itinerary
  • Authorized tour guide to the temples
    Guides are available in the following languages; Khmer, Thai, English, German, French, Japanese, Chinese, Korean. Please specify the language required. Other languages might be available on request.
  • Water and refreshing towels
  • 10% VAT and other taxes

Prices do not include:

  • Airfare to / from Siem Reap
  • Cambodian Visa (US$ 20)
  • Personal expenses
  • Food and meals not included in the itinerary
  • Alcoholic beverages and other drinks not described in the itinerary
  • Personal travel insurance

Payment:

To pay for any of the tours, please make a 50% deposit two weeks in advance of the starting date of your selected tour payable to Indochina Globetrot, c/o Mr Kham Sambo and send it to 
Western Union Bank, Siem Reap Branch, Cambodia
To finalize payment, please email the code number to Kham Sambo at khamsambo@camnet.com.kh

The remaining 50% due is payable upon arrival in Siem Reap.
